From “Filò” to floor: history and sustainability in the Wood Art of the Prealps of Treviso

The history of our company was born in the 2015 among the enchanting wooded hills of the Prealps of Treviso. Our vision is inspired by the value of the ancient “filò”, a word that evokes the image of women gathered around the fire, spinning using wool, hanks, needles and threads. This term, that derives from the verb “to spin”, includes not only the the artisanal process of creation, but also the sense of community, tradition and transmission of knowledge from one generation to another. Each floor is the result of a careful process of selection of materials and workmanship that, while using the most modern technologies, keeps alive the art and spirit of the ancient “filò”. The quality of our products and of our service we offer to our costumers is the heart of all our choices. We strongly believe in the respect of the environment, which is why every stage of production is designed to minimize the impact on our planet.
